Bar & Bat Mitzvahs

Carcano DJ will create a memorable, high-energy experience for your Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Our staff will customize an extremely detailed itinerary for a fun-filled entertaining party that you, your family and your guests will be talking about for years to come. Listed below are some ideas that will help you in planning your Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

Theme

A great way for your son or daughter to personalize this once-in-a-lifetime event with his or her own style. Some will enjoy sports, drama, movies, Hollywood, music, shopping, beach or any theme that best describes your child’s interests.

Grand Introductions

With the use of confetti, streamers and a very enthusiastic crowd, this is a great start to welcome you into your event for your grand introduction.

The Hora

This song and other traditional Jewish folk songs can be played right after the grand introductions or played later in the party.

The Ha-Motz (Blessing of the Bread)

This tradition can be done prior to the meal and can be done by a friend or family member.

Photo Montage

This is a great idea to showcase a young life and have photos of his or her upbringing, friends, family and the things that make life exciting.

Candle Lighting Ceremony

This ceremony consists of calling up thirteen people or groups of people who each light a candle. After each honoree is announced, an explanation is provided of the significance of the relationship between the honoree and the Bar Mitzvah boy or Bat Mitzvah girl. A separate song is usually picked and played for each honoree.

Games & Trivia

Can be extremely entertaining and keep your guests involved throughout the party. Games such as balloon stomp, scavenger hunt, musical chairs, huggy bear or music, movie or personal trivia are just a few ideas that will keep your guests entertained.

Group Participation Dances

These dances are a great way to get your crowd involved and turn up the energy. With dances such as The Cupid Shuffle, The Cha Cha Slide, The Traditional Electric Slide, along with the classic standards of the YMCA, Shout, The Macarena, The Hokey Pokey and The Chicken Dance, they are all different ways to motivate a crowd.

Open Dancing

It’s time to party! Open dancing provides pure energy and excitement and allows all your guest to dance to music from all genres and generations.

Event Ideas

Having a theme, a photo booth, party favors, party motivators, guest dancers, tattoo artists, caricature drawers, hand readers, Guitar Hero or Rock Band are just a few more ideas that will separate your event from others.
